About video downloads

With a broadband-connected TiVo DVR, you can download videos from a variety of Internet sources directly to your TV. They will appear in your Now Playing List just like regular television recordings.

Video downloads are available to all current TiVo customers with a TiVo® Series2, TiVo HD, or TiVo Series3 HD DVR connected to the Internet. Many videos are free. You can also rent or purchase movies and TV shows from Amazon Video On Demand™

You will need to connect an Ethernet cable or a TiVo wireless adapter to your TiVo Series2, TiVo HD, or TiVo Series3 HD DVR, and then configure your DVR to work with your home network.

No. Downloads happen in the background and do not interfere with normal DVR operation. Your downloaded programs will appear in the Now Playing List just like all other recorded programs.

You can request a download on your broadband-connected TiVo DVR by going to TiVo Central, selecting Find Programs & Downloads, and then selecting Download TV, Movies, & Web Video. Video downloads can also be found using Swivel Search. You can find and request video downloads from tivo.com or www.amazon.com/gp/video/ontv/tivo.
