How to View Photos from Picasa Web Albums on your TiVo DVR

Picasa Web Albums is Picasa's newest feature, designed to help users post and share their photos quickly and easily on the web. Now you can use your broadband-connected TiVo DVR to access photos stored in your Picasa Web Albums.

To sign up for your own Web Albums, visit picasaweb.google.com to create a free account.

Access your Picasa Web Albums from your TiVo DVR

View slideshows of photos you store on Picasa. Here's how:

Hide the steps

Create a free account on Google's Picasa Web Albums.

Upload your photos.

Go to 'TiVo Central' > 'Music, Photos, Products, & More'.

Select “Photos & Slideshows” and follow the instructions to access your photo account.

Viewing public photos

You don't need a Picasa account to browse and view public photos from your DVR.

  • Search for keywords to find interesting photos, and bookmark photos or albums (by pressing the RECORD button on your TiVo remote) to view them later.
  • Press PLAY on your TiVo remote while viewing albums to play a slideshow.
